Ley and Andrew

Ley and Andrew were married on a beautiful (and warm!) summer day in June. Planned by Dickie Morris at Just a Little Ditty, and photographed by Aaron Watson Photography, this wedding exuded classic elegance with personal flair. A vibrant color scheme of navy blue, rose quartz, champagne, and blush was incorporated in every detail, including the florals!

Ley’s bridal bouquet featured soft blue hydrangeas, blush and cream roses, “Majolica” spray roses, sweet pea, lisianthus, and pink astrantia. We added greenery in the form of scented geranium leaves and umbrella ferns for volume. The stems were tied in a satin ivory ribbon and pinned with a sentimental locket.

Ley’s bridesmaids carried similar, but unique bouquets. To add a touch of “gold,” we incorporated deep yellow roses to the blue hydrangea, blush astrantia, and sweet pea. For more differentiation, we included dusty miller and blush hypericum berries. The bridesmaid’s bouquets were tied in a navy satin ribbon.

Aisle markers of blue hydrangea, cream roses, and cascading greenery were placed on pews, while two large urns of blush and cream florals framed the altar. Cream and blush rose petals were scattered down the aisle by an adorable flower girl prior to Ley’s entrance.

The wedding party moved to Keswick Hall for the reception. A cocktail hour was held outside on the patio, where we placed small, sweet arrangements in pinks and blushes. For the indoor dinner reception, we created low and tall table arrangements of blues and creams, with hints of rose quartz.

To add more interest to the tall arrangements, we filled the glass vases with blush silk rose petals.

The head table was romantically lit with sparkling gold votives placed among a lush, green garland. The bridesmaids’ and bride’s bouquets were used as centerpieces for the table.

Amy and Michael

Amy and Michael were married on a gorgeous spring day at Keswick Hall. Their April nuptials consisted of a small, traditional ceremony characterized by stories of love and sentiment. A color palette of ivory and cream and soft, romantic florals created an atmosphere of classic elegance. The stunning photographs by Alisandra Photography captured the details of the day in glowing light.

The bride was stunning in an ivory lace dress. To complement her gown, we created a bouquet of white and cream hydrangea, garden roses, spray roses, ranunculus, freesia, and astrantia. Greenery in the form of variegated pittosporum and seeded eucalyptus added texture and variety. The bouquet was tied in a satin ribbon and pinned with pearls.

The other members of the wedding party carried and wore flowers in ivory and white as well. The groom and adorable ring bearer sported boutonnieres of freesia, spray roses, dusty miller, and silver brunia berries. The lovely junior bridesmaid held a bouquet composed of flowers to match the bride’s.

The ceremony took place on Keswick’s back terrace, overlooking the grounds. The altar was framed with our classic round urns on ivory plinths. Lush and elegant arrangements of hydrangea, cream roses, lilies, stock, and tulips flowed from the urns. The aisle was marked with simple swags of cream roses and seeded eucalyptus, tied with an ivory ribbon.

At the reception, the head table’s centerpiece was arranged in a low glass footed bowl, encircled by a garland of salal, camellia leaf, and seeded eucalyptus. The arrangement consisted of cream roses, freesia, ranunculus, lilac, tulips, cymbidium orchids and dusty miller. Silvered mercury votives were scattered on the table to add a romantic glow.

Lindsay and Johnny

In early May, we had the pleasure of working with Lindsay and Johnny from Chicago. Their wedding was at Keswick Hall, the photographer was Jen Fariello and all of the wedding details were perfectly executed.

Lindsay was looking for a sophisticated, elegant mix with a soft and fulsome romantic feel. Her colors were spearmint with coral accents, creams, soft pinks and shades of cool green. The table flowers were in an eclectic mix of vintage silver bowls and containers collected by Tourterelle over the years. Mercury candlelight completed the look.

The bridal bouquet was creams, peaches, corals and mint accents. “Juliet” and “Patience” roses, “Ilse” spray rose, White/cream peonies, “Coral Charm” peonies, sweet pea, white freesia, white ranunculus, lisianthus, and white astrantia with scented geranium and dusty miller. Tied in a ivory satin ribbon  pinned with pearls.
