Neena and Stewart

On a gorgeous day in May, Neena and Stewart were married on the picturesque grounds of Castle Hill Cider. The vineyard style wedding was a classic and romantic affair, with a color scheme of light blue, grey, blush, lavender, and mint. Seasonal flowers of peonies, ranunculus, tulips, and hydrangeas were used throughout, from personal flowers to the reception.

Neena carried a striking, full bouquet. Cream peonies, David Austin roses, blush ranunculus, ivory spray roses, and parrot tulips were arranged with greenery of seeded eucalyptus and dusty miller. A touch of blue, in the form of tweedia, added a unique detail to the garden style bouquet.

Neena’s bridesmaids wore grey dresses and carried delicate bouquets in blush and pink. Peonies, ranunculus, astrantia, and greenery were tied with a blush satin ribbon. The groom and groomsmen wore complementing boutonnieres.

The ceremony was held within a lovely grove of trees. Luxurious drifts of white petals were placed at the base of the trees and down the aisle. Magical piles of white hydrangea, lisianthus, and greenery climbed the base of the trunks of the two Lindens that framed the altar. Two stunning arrangements of white and ivory florals and delicate greenery were thoughtfully planted in romantic urns.

For the reception, more stunning focal pieces were created. To complement the classic, vintage china and the venue, we suspended two antique orchard ladders over the head table. Styled and wrapped with grape vine, hydrangea, tulips, jasmine vine, ferns, roses, moss, and ivy, the ladders served as a breathtaking centerpiece. Edison lightbulbs dangled from the ladders to create a romantic glow in the lavender ambience.

Groupings of small arrangements in green, lavender, and cream were placed down the tables among birch slabs, moss, and gold votives, creating an eclectic and stunning tablescape.

We absolutely loved creating the floral statement pieces for this wedding, and we wish the lovely couple all the best in their future together. Thank you to all of the amazing vendors (particularly the talented Allegra’s Studio for these stunning photos!) who made this day so spectacular!

Rebecca and Matt

Rebecca and Matt’s relaxed, vintage style wedding took place at Castle Hill Cider in October of 2015. The couple chose vibrant colors for their wedding party, which allowed us to integrate an interesting mix of bright and romantic florals.

The bride’s bouquet was soft and fulsome in colors of pink and purple. Cascading greenery, orchids, dendrobiums, calla lilies, spray roses, camellia leaves, hydrangeas, and freesia came together to create a textured and asymmetric composition. The bouquet was tied with a purple satin ribbon and pinned with a line of pearls.

The bridesmaids, wearing plum, carried bouquets of purple hydrangea with “Purple Rain” roses, dendrobiums, camelia leaves, and seeded eucalyptus. These bouquets were tied in teal satin ribbon to complement the groomsmen’s ties.

Meredith Sledge Photography captured the wedding in gorgeous detail. Each image manages to highlight the vibrancy and texture of each flower. Explore the gallery below, or visit our Weddings page.

The wedding was infused with a simple, rustic elegance. A color palette of navy, pale yellow, and grey was chosen, and we integrated these colors into our designs.

The bride carried a loose and airy bouquet of “Café au lait” dahlias, freesia, “Quick Sand” roses, “Majolica” spray roses, astrantia, hydrangea, and dusty miller. The flowers were wrapped with a burlap ribbon and a cream collar.

For the ceremony, we provided two of our Tourterelle birch bark barrels topped with arrangements to mark the altar. The arrangements were full of hydrangea, roses, eucalyptus, scabiosa pods, yellow snap dragons, and dahlias. The aisle was lined by clear hobnail jars holding a loose collection of dahlias, hydrangea, and roses.

For the reception, we continued our floral story in birch containers. The centerpieces were placed on round bark slabs and beds of moss to add dimension and interest to the tables. Interspersed on the slabs was a mix of mercury glass votive candles and dried hydrangea.
