In late June, Mary Boyce and John celebrated their love for each other in Charlottesville. The ceremony took place at Christ Episcopal Church, and the reception at Farmington Country Club. The inspiration for the wedding was southern elegance, which the bride truly exuded.
The color scheme for the flowers was creams, whites, and greens, with a touch of blue to coordinate with the Bridesmaids’ dresses. The style for the bouquets was a loose, elegant “from the garden” feel. We also incorporated the brides favorite flowers: garden roses, peonies, and hydrangea.
The bride’s bouquet was full and white, with hints of green and cream. It was composed of white peonies, white and cream garden roses, white hydrangea, dusty miller, white double lisianthus, and white spray roses with just a touch of greens and seeded eucalyptus. The stems were tied with a cream satin ribbon, bound with a line of seed pearls. For a personal touch, the bride added the lace from her mother’s bouquet.
It was a beautiful day to celebrate this couple, and we were so pleased to contribute to its elegance. Congratulations to Mary Boyce and John!
