Erin and Jesse were married at Castle Hill Cider on a beautiful, September 2015 day. Their wedding was planned by the talented Logan Powell at Real Southern Accents.
The wedding was infused with a simple, rustic elegance. A color palette of navy, pale yellow, and grey was chosen, and we integrated these colors into our designs.
The bride carried a loose and airy bouquet of “Café au lait” dahlias, freesia, “Quick Sand” roses, “Majolica” spray roses, astrantia, hydrangea, and dusty miller. The flowers were wrapped with a burlap ribbon and a cream collar.
For the ceremony, we provided two of our Tourterelle birch bark barrels topped with arrangements to mark the altar. The arrangements were full of hydrangea, roses, eucalyptus, scabiosa pods, yellow snap dragons, and dahlias. The aisle was lined by clear hobnail jars holding a loose collection of dahlias, hydrangea, and roses.
For the reception, we continued our floral story in birch containers. The centerpieces were placed on round bark slabs and beds of moss to add dimension and interest to the tables. Interspersed on the slabs was a mix of mercury glass votive candles and dried hydrangea.
The stunning photographs we have shared documenting this joyous occasion were taken by the wonderful William Walker Photography. View more images in our gallery below, or on our Weddings page.
