On June 20, Dana and Kyle were married at the polished and elegant Old Metropolitan Hall, and their wedding was nothing short of those two descriptors. The wedding maintained a contemporary vibe, infused with many sophisticated elements.
The ceremony, held in the exquisite ballroom, was anchored by the venue’s unique, large paneled mirror and grand, white curtain. To enhance the altar’s romantic charm, we added garland to the edges of the curtain, and bouquets of white hydrangea.
The gorgeous bride carried a bouquet of white to reflect the setting. The bouquet featured a wide variety of blooms to add variety and texture. Garden roses, white nerines, “Majolica” spray roses, ranunculus, hydrangea, ivory sweet peas, champagne lisianthus, freesia, seeded eucalyptus, dusty miller, and veronica were tied together in a gold sequined cording, with ribbons cascading down from the stems.
The wedding incorporated pink and coral elements to the white base. The bridesmaid’s dresses and their bouquets contributed to this color palette. We also infused the reception ceremony with these hues. In the center of the long farm tables were garlands that weaved between hobnail glass jars filled with white roses, pink hypericum and spray roses, and dusty miller. Mercury glass votives added to the reception’s romantic atmosphere.
